Traditional, Modern Mom in a Non-Traditional what??

Let’s see if I can explain it. I grew up in Indiana watching basketball and baseball and learning to crochet, bake bread and garden from my Grandma. Now, I have a family in the wild, weird and wonderful Pacific Northwest. I love the mountains and natural beauty here. Yet there’s still nothing quite like vast Midwestern fields of corn as far as the eye can see, and a day at the beach on Lake Michigan. What can I say? It’s all part of what makes me tick.

I started reading aloud in public when I was five years old, and singing when I was ten. No matter what else I’ve done, public performance has always been a part of my life! Along the way, I’ve studied acting, directing, classical singing, and Alexander technique. But I’ve also tested software, managed consulting projects, sold cars, traveled abroad, been a Mom (still working on that one!), and more.

Voice acting lets me perform, learn new things constantly, help people every day and be proud of a job well done. It’s the best job I could ask for!
